HOT Networking: Choosing the Right Business Support for You

HOT Networking is back on Wednesday the 12th February at Elsie Whiteley Innovation Centre and it’ll be doing things a bit differently with a speed networking session happening before our wonderful talk from Your Virtual Advisory Board. This will be a perfect opportunity to understand and network with other businesses in Calderdale.
What is Your Virtual Advisory Board?
Your Virtual Advisory Board brings top-tier business expertise to ambitious SMEs in a way that’s both accessible and impactful. Founded by Catherine Young and Chris Mitchell, we bridge the gap between one-to-one coaching, peer to peer support and full board membership, providing growing businesses with the strategic support they need to thrive.
Catherine, with her extensive background in the finance industry, and Chris, bringing deep expertise in strategy, recognised that scale-up SMEs often struggle to find the right level of support at the right time. They’ve created a service that combines the personal attention of coaching with the broad expertise of an advisory board – all delivered in a flexible, cost-effective format that works for growing businesses.
Through carefully curated boards of industry experts, they help business owners tackle their biggest challenges, from strategic planning to operational excellence. Their virtual advisory boards meet monthly or quarterly, providing structured, focused support that drives real business growth – without the complexity and cost of a traditional board.
Your Virtual Advisory Board are also offering free trials for 5 SMEs that attend the event. If you are interested, or have any other questions, please contact marketing@regen.org.uk.
What will be talked about?
As a business owner, you know that running and growing a company can feel overwhelming. Whether you’re bootstrapping a startup or scaling an established SME, finding the right support at the right time – and at the right price – can make the difference between stagnation and success. During the session you will find out about:
- Cut through the confusion around business support options – from mentors and coaches to advisory boards and grants
- Understand what type of support best fits YOUR specific business stage and challenges
- Make smart decisions about investing in your business’s future
- Avoid common pitfalls when choosing business support
- Get clarity on the real value versus cost of different support options
- and more!
