The launch evening of Creative Networks was acclaimed by many to be a resounding success. Over a hundred professionals from a wide range of specialist companies came along to meet, share ideas and make new contacts.

Our guest speaker Jo Cameron gave an inspirational and informative presentation on overcoming set backs and the powers ofnetworking. Jo Cameron first hit the headlines in series two of TV show The Apprentice. She overshadowed the other candidates with her energy and determination. She remains one of the most memoriable and recognisable. Since then she has survived seemingly insurmountable personal challenges and business set backs to become a leading woman Entrepreneur.

Many young business people who hadn’t attended such an event before expressed their discomfort with approaching strangers to strike up a business conversation but by the end of the evening were delighted to say that they had met a number of new people and had made some really useful contacts.

An exit poll found most attendees saying how much they had gained from the event and were looking forward to the exciting key speaker next month and would be telling all their friends to come along too.

Some comments from the delegates who attended:

'It's the boost i needed!'
Julia Cameron, Bloc Chocolate

'Enjoyed meeting and networking, after overcoming my fear!'
Nick Moran, Studio Monkeys

'Love the concept - professionalism and vibrancy!'
Edward Ryder, Biskit Ltd
