Incubator Space
The Elsie Whiteley Innovation Centre offers a number of office spaces especially for newly formed businesses.
'Incubator' office packages have been designed to provide new companies with a fantastic starting point.
The Incubator package includes
- A substantial rent subsidy to help with start up costs - Incubator rents start low and gradually increase as the business grows
- Intensive one to one business support and expertise delivered by the centre's own business developement manager
- Regular free advisory sessions and clinics offered by various industry professionals
- Access to a whole range of networking opportunities and events both inside and outside of the centre
The Incubator Rent deal at a glance
- For the first nine months of the business life the rent charged is 50% of the standard rate, reducing the rent paid from *£15/sq ft to *£7.50/sq ft.
- For the second nine months the business life rent is charged at 75% of the standard rate, reducing the rent paid from *£15/sq ft to *£11.25/sq ft.
- Thereafter the rent is charged at the full rate of *£15/sq ft.
*Please note Calderdale Council business rates are not included.
Acceptability for the Incubation Office Package is at the discretion of the Elsie Whiteley Innovation Centre Management.
Businesses demonstrating innovation, creativity and potential for growth will be given preference.
The following services are available at an additional cost
- Reserved and marked car parking space in the centre's secure, access controlled car park - £65 per month per space, subject to availability.
- Conference Room hire at tennants special discount rates - begins from £10 per hour.
-Additional reception facilities such as photocopying and secretarial services at reasonable rates.
Telephone and data services
- Digital display telephone and line, with DDI number and voicemail plus an analogue line for fax/analogue telephone with DDI - £25 per month
- Digital display telephone and line, with DDI number and voicemail - £18 per month
- Analogue Line with DDI and voicemail - £12 per month
- Broadband - £40 per month
